Legacy Part Replication & Batch Production

Primo3D partnered with an out-of-state hot tub repair company to reproduce several discontinued plastic components that were no longer available through the original manufacturer.

Using existing worn parts as references, Primo3D reverse-engineered and replicated the components through precision 3D modeling and additive manufacturing. The project involved reproducing threaded fittings and specialized internal parts that needed to maintain functional compatibility with existing hot tub systems.

After successful prototyping and fitment testing, Primo3D produced a larger batch of replacement parts to help support ongoing repair and maintenance operations for the client’s customers. The production process focused on dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and durable material selection suitable for long-term functional use.

This project highlights Primo3D’s ability to support repair industries and specialty service companies through custom part replication, low-volume manufacturing, and replacement solutions for obsolete or discontinued components.
