The long and short of it…

Primo3D is a community-focused additive manufacturing company specializing in custom 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and digital fabrication solutions. We help businesses, schools, creators, and organizations bring ideas to life through modern manufacturing technology.

Our mission is to make advanced manufacturing more accessible while creating innovative, sustainable solutions that positively impact both our community and the environment.

“Why” We do it:
Community & Environmental Impact

Environmental responsibility and community development are central to Primo3D’s mission. Through hands-on workshops, school partnerships, and after-school 3D printing programs, we introduce students, individuals, and communities to design, engineering, and additive manufacturing technologies.

We believe access to additive manufacturing tools and knowledge can open doors to future careers in technology, engineering, and skilled trades. By creating engaging learning opportunities, Primo3D helps empower the next generation of makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

As the company grows, we also plan to expand local job opportunities in additive manufacturing, recycling operations, and advanced production technologies.

The REAL Goal:
Sustainability & Plastic Recycling

Sustainability is a major part of Primo3D’s long-term vision. We are investing in plastic recycling and filament production systems that allow discarded plastic materials to be processed, recycled, and reused in future manufacturing projects.

By building a localized recycling pipeline, Primo3D aims to reduce plastic waste within the community while promoting environmentally responsible manufacturing practices. These systems will help transform waste materials into usable products and educational resources, demonstrating how technology and sustainability can work together.

Beyond reducing waste, our recycling initiatives are designed to educate the community about environmental responsibility, circular manufacturing, and the importance of sustainable production methods for future generations.

About the Founder

Man in a gray suit, black dress shirt, and maroon tie standing against a dark background.

Primo3D was founded by Drew Primeaux(pronounced “premo”), an entrepreneur, inventor, technology educator, and manufacturing innovator with a background in Applied Sciences and Computer Programming. Before launching Primo3D, Drew spent over a decade in leadership roles within the private events and lighting design industry, developing strong technical, operational, and project management experience.

During the pandemic, Drew taught himself 3D printing and transformed that passion into a growing business focused on innovation, education, and community impact. His vision for Primo3D extends beyond manufacturing — creating opportunities for students, creators, and future professionals through accessible technology and hands-on learning, while aiming to reduce plastic pollution in our eviroment.
